Final 5 Hi Res Images

Final in Poster Form

Final Choice.

I have decided to stick with my original colours of black and white. It shows all detail in the triangles and look like triangle hair ball when then are all close together in the middle.
I like how when I move the mouse they all come together which is what was suggested to me from a design point of view.
The symmetry and repeating of patterns relates right back to my precedent images that I choose.
Although my idea has changed quite a lot through out this project I am happy with my final code. The fact that it looks like hair as well is kind of creepy.

Different Colours

Dont really like the blue. Just doesnt appeal to me very much.

Red on black doesn't show the amount of detail that I would like. Will not be choosing this colour choice.

Shows the detail a lot better than with the background. No longer looks like hair ball kind of things tho.
I quite like the grey and white. Still shows the detail.

Grey on black is my favourite out of these colour choices. It still shows all the detail and gives a sort of mysterious look to it.

Added mouse movement back in.

I have added the mouse movements back it. Here are a few screen shots of the code at different stages:

As the mouse moves all the triangles come together. I really like this as it adds different things for the viewer to look at and gives them the chance to change what they are looking at. They all still come together in the middle and gets simple as the mouse is moved away from the middle of the page playing.

Will now play around with more colour options.

I feel in a way I have still stayed on the same track with this project. The image is se-metrical just like my precedents and the same pattern repeats itself which is where I wanted to go with this project.

Reversed Colours

With no transparency the detail doesn't show up as much.
Looks much better with a bit of transparency. Im not to sure whether I like this more than the black on white.

Different examples of code busy in the middle, simple at the sides.

Although all very similar they are different in one way or another.

This first one is just the same all over so not what I am going for.

Has a sketched look to it. Quite like this one.

To simple and plan. Boring to look at.
This one and the next one are probably my favourites out of all of these examples. They are both clearly show the pattern I am going for. I could now play around with different colours and maybe even look at adding animation back into it.

Design perspective.

From a design perspective Elle suggested that I could possibly make the triangles busier in the middle and less as they move towards the edges. I really like this idea and am going to work with this to see what I can come up with for my final.

No more mouse movements.

I have decided to take out the movements for now. They are to distracting and I feel I can still make something worth while without them.

Took out lines.

Without the background lines it look a lot better. Less distracting and allows the user to focus more on the detail in the lines.

Nearing Final

I have managed to create the previous images using my code. They are all from the same code playing, just when I move the mouse to the top left corner the triangles spread out and disappear (pictures 1 & 3). When mouse is in the bottom right corner the triangles disappear (picture 5). And when the mouse is in the middle it appears as pictures 2 & 4.

I really like this but after looking at it numerous times I have decided that it is to cluttered to watch. The middle pattern doesn't really need to be there as it doesn't move or anything.

Different Screen Shots of More changes.

A bunch of screen shots from different parts of the code when mouse is moved. I am liking the movements it makes so am now wanting to add more structure to it. Will have a look at adding in more translates, rotations etc and will see where I go from there.

Favourite out of all of them.

Mushroomed shaped forms add quite an interesting effect. Look like cloud forms.
Rectangles are to busy. I do not like this one very much. So will not continue with this one.
Has a hurricane look to it. With some alterations this code could  end up looking quite smooth and have some circular movements to it.

More editing

Made stroke weight thicker and it gave quite a cool effect.
Another version of the code when the mouse is moved.

More playing around

Pattern changes when the mouse is moved. Am quite liking it.

Mouse Control

Added mouse X and mouse Y. Picture no moves and looks quite cool. Will keep working on it.

Added some colour

Simplified the previous code and added in background colour. Like the idea of using a simple pattern like this one.

I really like this. Especially with using the two different colours.

Looks Sketched.

Looks like its sketched. I really like this. Changed it back to lines plus played round with a couple other things and this was the result.

Changed Shapes

Added ellipses as well as line. Looks very pretty. Its a really interesting pattern.
 Made simpler. Still like this.
All just ellipses. Dont like this. Way to busy looking.
Squares look much better than ellipses. I like the idea of the spinning look.
